RECENT PROJECT HIGHLIGHT
JUSTICE LA BILLBOARDS
I was honored to be trusted with graphics for a recent campaign to hold public officials accountable to their promises. Grassroots abolitionist orgs Justice LA and Dignity and Power NOW contracted me for a series of billboards, wheat paste posters, postcards, and a Take Action toolkit to support their organizing work. (And their multi-pronged strategy worked, by the way.) Congratulations to JusticeLA for their commitment to and success in mobilizing our LA community.
Book Covers:
Illustration & Design
Digging into a good book, whether it’s a dazzling fantasy or a well-written non-fiction work, is one of my favorite pastimes. It’s been such a privilege and pleasure to work with authors to develop their creative works into finished layouts and cover designs. Here are a few of my most recent book covers.
REPORTS & DATA GRAPHICS
Call me a big nerd, but I’m just a data-hungry girl in a data-full world, and I love working on infographics and reports. Nothing is quite so satisfying as finding the right way to visualize quantitative data in a manner that engages readers. Here are a couple of my recent favorites.
ELECTORAL & POLITICAL SOCIALS
I’ve been working in progressive politics for the past seven years, providing digital support (design, website, analytics, strategy) for various organizations, including CURB, Dignity and Power NOW, Justice LA, White People 4 Black Lives, BLM LA grassroots, and more, and electoral campaigns in Los Angeles County and California state. In 2020, I developed campaign materials for seven ballot measures and props, as well as several candidates running for local seats. After 2020, I continued this work full-time for a single org on their various projects, including electoral for judicial candidates, as well as the Court Watch LA program, Re-imagine LA, Transformative Organizing Conversations, and more. Here’s a very small sampling of some of the work I’ve done in this time.
Commissioned Illustration Pieces
Some of my commissioned illustrations from 2020-present. Get in touch to request samples of my t-shirts and older illustrations if you’re looking for something specific.
Branding, Ads, and Assets (Small business)
Some samples of branding and promotional assets I’ve worked on for small business clients.
Album Covers & Show posters
I co-ran a record label (Sunday Night Records, Madison, WI) for several years. These are a few of the show posters and album covers I worked on during that time, both for our artists, as well as other artists in Madison, LA, and Olympia.
